Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told reporters that Moscow believes the United States and Ukraine will probably be discussing how the Russia-Ukraine war can be settled during their meeting in Paris, France.
"[Russian] President [Vladimir Putin] recently had a very lengthy conversation with [United States Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve] Witkoff. We know that the content of this conversation was reported to [US] President [Donald] Trump. The US continues to work in this direction with the Europeans and the Ukrainians," Peskov commented.
Head of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's Office Andriy Yermak shared earlier that the country's delegation arrived in Paris, adding that "a series of bilateral and multilateral meetings are planned."
