Health Ministry: Gaza death toll at 36,050

The death toll in the Gaza Strip has surpassed 36,000 since the start of the conflict with Israel, the Hamas-run Gaza Health Ministry said in an update on Monday. 66 people were killed in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of fatalities to 36,050, according to the ministry's estimates.

Around 81,026 have been injured since the start of the hostilities, including 383 within the past day. The number of casualties in Israel's latest attack on Rafah rose to 294, including 45 dead and 249 injured.
