Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba (pictured) said on Monday that he and Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlic Radman agreed on the possibility of using Croatian ports on the Danube and the Adriatic Sea for the transport of Ukrainian grain. Ukraine has been involved in negotiations to replace the Black Sea export route since Russia terminated the Black Sea Grain Initiative earlier this month.
"We will now work on laying the most efficient routes to these ports and making the most of this opportunity," Kuleba said. The two diplomats also discussed Croatia's military support for Ukraine. Kuleba declined to provide details but said that "there are concrete agreements that will soon be implemented."
