Major stock markets in Europe ended Tuesday mostly higher as investors assessed Spain's unemployment data. Europe's largest software maker SAP posted its quarterly earnings results and luxury goods firm LVHM is set to follow suit after the close.
The DAX jumped 0.74% with Sartorius AG going 11.47% up. The EURO STOXX 50 gained 0.27% with Adyen NV advancing 3.41%. The FTSE 100 added 0.35% with Spirax Group PLC jumping 4.04%. On the other hand, the CAC 40 lost 0.12% as Schneider Electric SE worsened by 6.45%.
The euro traded 0.60% lower compared to the US currency, selling for $1.04261 at 5:29 pm CET. Simultaneously, the pound was down 0.45% against the greenback to go for $1.24352.
