The Labour Party enjoys support from 43% of voters in the United Kingdom and its lead over the Conservative Party has reached the highest level since February 2013, a YouGov poll for The Times showed on Friday.
Tories won the backing of 28% of the survey respondents, while the Liberal Democrats had 11%. Labour's 43% is the best result the party has had in the same poll since March 2018. Compared to the previous survey, Labour was up four percentage points, while the Conservatives lost two points.
The next UK general election will likely be held in either late 2024 or early 2025.
