Deputy State Secretary on Energy Issues at Latvia's Ministry of Economics Edijs Saicans remarked on Saturday that he does not expect his country will feel a major impact of PJSC Gazprom's decision to cut its deliveries of gas to the Baltic nation.
Earlier this week, the country's natural gas company A/S Latvijas Gaze released a statement in which it said it gets the commodity from another supplier, not Russia.
Gazprom previously announced it is cutting its deliveries of gas to Latvia as it allegedly broke the terms for the extraction of that commodity.
