Russian Foreign minister Sergey Lavrov stated on Tuesday that the efforts to revive the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action nuclear deal have entered the final stage.
Having met his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir-Abdollahian in Moscow, Lavrov highlighted that the countries are preparing the closing documents with the intent to formalize a new level of cooperation.
Noting that trade between Russia and Iran is growing at a record pace, Lavrov also expressed appreciation for Tehran's "objective position" regarding Moscow's military operation in Ukraine.
