Lavrov: Putin 'very pleased' after talking to Araghchi

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated during a press conference, which took place before his meeting with an Iranian official, on Friday that Russian President Vladimir Putin had a "long and substantive conversation" with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.

Lavrov shared that Russia's head of state was "very pleased" with how the meeting went, adding that these discussions "emphasized the unprecedented dynamics of our political dialogue."

Previously, Araghchi described the encounter as "good," saying that "almost all important issues" were covered.
