Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Wednesday that the return of NATO to Afghanistan is "unacceptable," as it will create a "time bomb."
"It is unacceptable to try, and such attempts are being made, to return the military infrastructure of NATO countries ... under various pretexts. Such attempts will create a new time bomb," Lavrov stressed, speaking at a press conference in Uzbekistan.
Asked about the next round of negotiations between Russia and the United States, Lavrov answered that it would occur "soon."
