Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov revealed on Thursday that Moscow and Beijing have already planned a number of "high-level" events for 2024, which will further boost relations between the two countries.
"Russia's goal in 2024 is to eliminate any form of reliance on the West both in terms of its economy and supply chains, as Russia and China are experiencing their best period of relations in history," he remarked while speaking at a press conference.
Meanwhile, he took a jab at the Western leaders, saying that they are "increasingly chattering about a potential clash between nuclear powers, as deterrents are gradually evaporating."
