Lavrov: Russia-Ukraine talks are halted

The talks between Russia and Ukraine are not ongoing in any form, Moscow's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Tuesday.

The standstill can be attributed to the fact that the West has put Ukrainian negotiators under its complete control, Lavrov said, according to Interfax.

Earlier today, the minister blasted NATO for "gross" violations of its obligations and added that Moscow will closely monitor the way the alliance used Finland's and Sweden's territory.
