Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Saturday that the West's "policy of isolating Russia has failed completely," adding that it is "only natural" that the United States and its allies should fail to "force the international community to live according to the invented 'rules-based order'."
Lavrov claimed that the economic power of the G7 members has reduced significantly over the past three decades, according to RIA Novosti. "Now the first economic power in the world, in terms of purchasing power parity, is China, which skillfully combines market mechanisms and government methods of regulation," he said.
