Lebanon's President Joseph Aoun said on Friday that Israel's attack on Beirut's southern suburbs is a continuation of Israeli violations of the ceasefire deal, the Lebanese Presidency said in a post on X.

"The international community must put an end to these attacks and force Israel to abide by the agreement, just as Lebanon is committed to it," Aoun told French President Emmanuel Macron during an official visit to Paris. Aoun's remarks come after the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it launched an airstrike targeting drone storage used by Hezbollah in Beirut's Dahieh neighborhood.
