At least one person was killed and seven were injured when the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) opened fire on civilians in southern Lebanon, the Lebanese National News Agency reported on Monday citing the Health Ministry. According to the report, the people were attacked as they attempted to return to their homes following the Israel-Hezbollah ceasefire.
The Lebanese authorities also updated yesterday's death toll to 24 people, with 134 injured. The IDF claimed Hezbollah fighters were suspected to be among the returning civilians.
