German Finance Minister Christian Lindner stated on Friday that the ongoing banking crisis is an isolated matter pertaining to the United States and Switzerland.
"It is not a systemic financial crisis," the minister underscored in a statement, adding that the country's Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) and German central bank Bundesbank are carefully monitoring the situation.
"The German financial system is stable," Lindner stressed, saying the country has a high level of resilience.
