Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko intends to travel to Tehran soon, a statement by the Belarusian presidential press service revealed. The leader announced the news in a congratulatory message to Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi on the occasion of the 44th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution victory.
"I look forward to visiting Tehran in the near future and discussing topical issues on the bilateral, regional and international agendas," Lukashenko said, adding that Iran "plays an important role in the region and around the world."
