Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko stated that the country needs to step up modern attack drone production, Sputnik Belarus reported on Monday.
Speaking during a meeting on military spending, the president noted that while Minsk already works on introducing a line of unmanned military vehicles, more effort is needed to make advanced combat drones.
"I'm not talking about small arms ... We have plenty of this. I'm talking about a more formidable weapon. We must strive for this. We will work on this," Lukashenko underscored.
