Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko remarked on Thursday during his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow that the United States has "no plan for the conflict in Ukraine" and is "testing the waters."

He went on to say that Russia "cannot be pressured" when it comes to settling the war with Ukraine. Lukashenko noted that Moscow has "big trump cards," adding that "if they save these trump cards, they will take them out and start winning in this card game, [and] then we will come to an agreement."

Putin has yet to comment on the ceasefire proposal, which Ukraine showed readiness to accept. US officials are currently in Russia, discussing the matter.
