Brazil's President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva insisted on Tuesday that he doesn't want to choose between the United States and China.
"I don't want a cold war ... I want to have a relationship with both. I don't want to have a preference for one over the other. I want to trade with everyone," Lula mentioned during an event.
Previously, a media report mentioned that US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said that Washington and Beijing could come to an agreement, adding that he believes trade tensions will de-escalate.
