French President Emmanuel Macron said in a post on X on Sunday that Paris is working to "widely deliver" the humanitarian aid that has been stalled "at the gates" of the Gaza Strip.

Talking about the recent hostage footage released by Hamas, he labeled it "abject cruelty [and] limitless inhumanity." "The absolute priority and imperative for France is the immediate release of all hostages," he remarked.

Macron also reiterated that the "two-state solution" is the "only possible path" toward the future.
