An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.0 struck near San Diego Country Estates in California, according to the United States Geological Survey on Monday.
The quake occurred at around 1:08 pm ET at a depth of 9 kilometers, with the epicenter located three kilometers northeast of San Diego Country Estates.
Several aftershocks followed the natural disaster in the same area, including tremors between magnitude 2.0 and 3.0. Other agencies have reported that the earthquake was stronger, up to 6.7.
No immediate information about casualties or material damage has been issued. However, residents across the region have taken to social media to share images and videos.
