5.6-magnitude earthquake hits off coast of Chile

A strong 5.6-magnitude earthquake was recorded off the coast of Chile on Saturday, data provided by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) showed.

According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the quake struck Antofagasta and was confirmed to have hit the region at a depth of about 114.2 kilometers.
