Man. City beats Copenhagen 3-1 to secure quarter-finals

Manchester City defeated Copenhagen 3-1 in the second leg of the Champions League round of 16, securing a quarter-final spot with an aggregate result of 6-2.

The reigning champions sustained a 67% possession of the ball and kept a dominant role with goals by Manuel Akanji, Julian Alvarez, and Erling Haaland in the 5th, 9th, and 45th minutes, respectively. The single goal for Copenhagen was scored by Mohamed Elyounoussi in the 29th minute.

The game was played at Etihad Stadium.
