Sau Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman told French President Emmanuel Macron over the phone on Friday that the kingdom rejects "targeting civilians" in the conflict between Israel and Hamas and is "calling for halting the military operations against civilians and infrastructure."
According to the Saudi news agency SPA, the crown prince stressed the importance of "exerting all possible efforts to reduce escalation and prevent the expansion of violence and avoid its dangerous repercussions on the security and stability of the region and the world," during the phone call and also called for creating conditions to "achieve lasting peace" in the region and establish a Palestinian state.
Bin Salman also stated that Riyadh rejects Israel's "policy of forced, mass displacement of Palestinians" amid the conflict with Hamas.
