United States House Speaker Kevin McCarthy underlined on his Twitter account that the US government "spends too much."
Talking about budget planning, McCarthy said that the money is not the problem, as "the government is collecting more than ever." What is problematic, however, is Washington's spending, he stressed.
"And President Biden wants to spend even more money next year than we did at the height of the pandemic," McCarthy asserted, explaining that such a goal is "unsustainable." The Speaker has been criticized by the Biden administration for his economic plan recommendation.
