McLaren's Oscar Piastri won the Formula 1 Bahrain Grand Prix on Sunday, winning his second race of the season after a victory at the Chinese Grand Prix in March.
Mercedes driver George Russell came in second after managing to hold off a late challenge from Piastri's teammate Lando Norris, who secured the final place on the podium. Russell could lose his podium spot as he is currently under investigation for DRS infringement. Ferrari's duo Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton were fourth and fifth while reigning Formula 1 champion Max Verstappen came in sixth.
With today's results, McLaren extended its lead in the Constructors' Championship.
