Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev condemned United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres' statement calling Ukraine's leadership "legitimate."
Medvedev called this a "double lie," arguing that President Volodymyr Zelensky has "failed, his people are dying and his country is disappearing."
Guterres' comments came after Russian President Vladimir Putin suggested the possibility of establishing an interim government in Ukraine under the UN's supervision.
