Medvedev: Germany to collapse over stupid policies

Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev said on Saturday that Germany will experience an "economic collapse" as a result of its "stupid" policies.

"A ghoul called Wadephul says he no longer expects Russia’s complete defeat due to its nuclear arsenal. We are eagerly expecting Germany’s economic collapse due to its stupid policies though," Medvedev stated in a post on X.

The comments come after Germany's Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul told Sueddeutsche Zeitung in an interview that the Ukraine war should end with a negotiated solution as "a complete defeat in the sense of a surrender by a nuclear-armed Russia could not be expected." He added that, although he would "avoid the word war," Germany is not in a situation of clear peace" with Russia and must find a way to deal with it.
