Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev said on Friday that Russia is closely following the upcoming elections in the United States.
"It seems that they have forgotten, observers, that until recently, we admired the collapse of the entire US political machine and the seizure of the Capitol. And now we are watching with interest who and how the long-suffering American people will choose..." Medvedev said on Telegram while commenting on the chances of the current candidates.
According to a national poll by Fox News, Former US President Donald Trump remains the Republican Party's most likely candidate in the 2024 presidential election after garnering 56% support. Meanwhile, for the Democrat side, President Joe Biden remains the favorite with 64%.
