Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev took to Telegram to reject Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s suggestion of a potential territorial exchange with Russia, calling the idea unrealistic.
In an interview published by The Guardian on Tuesday, Zelensky mentioned Kiev's willingness to swap territories, referencing Russia’s Kursk region, but left details vague. However, Medvedev slammed these remarks, accusing Zelensky of spouting "nonsense on camera about territorial exchanges."
He also described this morning's missile barrage on Ukraine's capital as a "peace through strength" demonstration. His comments came after the reported massive attack on the Ukrainian capital earlier today, which killed one person and injured others.
