Messi wins FIFA's best player award for third time

Football superstar Lionel Messi won FIFA's Best Men's Player award for the third time, making him the only player in history to achieve this.

The Argentinian beat Norway's Erling Haaland and France's Kylian Mbappe, who were both competing in the same category. At the latest World Cup in 2022, Messi led his team to the trophy, winning the Golden Ball and scoring seven goals in total.

Meanwhile, the Best Men's Goalkeeper award went to Brazilian Ederson, and the Best Men's Coach title was awarded to Spain's Pep Guardiola.
