Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev in an interview with TASS called on Ukrainians to stop relying on Western influence and instead focus on choosing "sensible" leaders to end the ongoing conflict between the two countries.
"We need to replace the panic among citizens with determination to replace odious politicians with normal and sensible leaders," Medvedev told the media outlet, in an apparent criticism of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Medvedev labeled the current Ukrainian administration as "neo-Nazi" and said it was unrepresentative of its people. He claimed that despite "heavy propaganda," Ukrainians understand the regime's downfall is inevitable.
