Microsoft Corporation announced in a written statement on Tuesday that it is introducing new data and artificial intelligence solutions in the Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability, among which are an AI-powered analytics platform Fabric and Copilot chatbot.
According to the statement, these solutions are aimed at providing "capabilities organizations need to progress in their sustainability journey," adding that they "include "faster environmental, social and governance (ESG) data analytics and insights, an AI assistant to help accelerate impactful decision-making and reporting, and other advanced capabilities."
The company explained that the pre-release sustainability data solutions in Microsoft Fabric enable organizations to accelerate their sustainability insights and progress, while Copilot, on the other hand, offers powerful generative AI and natural language use, while having an opportunity to ask questions. It was noted that organizations can also "get an integrated, interactive AI model to enable deeper analysis of estimated emissions data."
