Microsoft Corporation announced on Monday Sunday that it would invest four billion euros to develop data centers in France in a bid to enhance its infrastructure in artificial intelligence and cloud computing, AFP reported.
Microsoft's vice chairman and president, Brad Smith, told the news agency that this marks the tech giant's biggest investment in France yet, as the company devotes huge resources towards the development of artificial intelligence (AI).
A new data center will be established in eastern France, while the pre-existing sites in Paris and the southern city of Marseille are set to be expanded.
