Microsoft Corporation revealed on Monday the newest versions of its Surface Laptop and Surface Pro tablet, fully titled Copilot Plus Surface Laptop and Copilot Plus Surface Pro, without any numbering.
Speaking at the company's event dedicated to the Surface series, Surface Corporate Vice President Brett Ostrum described the devises as the "most powerful" ones "we've ever built." The gadgets are powered by Microsoft's chatbox Copilot, which in turn is based on generative (GenAI) artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
Microsoft Surface Product Marketing Director Adrienne Brewbaker said that the Laptop is "faster than a MacBook Air, that includes three 4K monitors and the laptop itself," while Program Manager Oyin Shenbanjo added it is "running at almost two times as fast as the MacBook Air over here, while maintaining my productivity and battery life."
