Microsoft unveils premium subscription Copilot Pro

Microsoft Corp. introduced on Monday a premium version of its chatbot, Copilot Pro. The new premium subscription will deliver "a higher tier of service for AI [artificial intelligence] capabilities."

The tech giant detailed in a blog post that the Copilot Pro customers will be given "a single AI experience that runs across your devices ... access to Copilot in Word, Excel[i], PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote on PC, Mac and iPad for Microsoft 365 Personal and Family subscribers ... priority access to the very latest models ... [and] the ability to build your own Copilot GPT."

The company further shared that small businesses will now have access to Copilot for Microsoft 365. Microsoft 365 Business Premium and Business Standard users are allowed to buy between one and 299 seats for a monthly fee of $30 per person.
