Peace processes in the Middle East depend on relations between Moscow and Ankara, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan claimed on Wednesday.

Ahead of their bilateral meeting, his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin noted that cooperation between Russia and Turkey in Syria and Libya has been "successful."

"The Russian-Turkish ceasefire control center is actively operating on the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan," representing "a serious guarantee of stability" in the region, Putin added.
