The government of the newly elected Argentine president, Javier Milei, will announce its first economic measures on Tuesday, Government Spokesperson Manuel Adorni told a press conference on Monday.
"Argentina has a problem of monetary emission, which is impacting prices and will continue to do so," Adorni stated, adding that "Argentina's fiscal system is unviable as we know it."
International organizations such as the IMF and financial markets closely follow what may happen to the Latin American nation after ultraliberal Milei reiterated during his inauguration that difficult days of stagflation are ahead for Argentina.
