Argentine President Javier Miley in his recent televised announcement said that Tesla CEO Elon Musk expressed an interest in Argentina's lithium deposits.

In his speech, the Argentinian leader highlighted concerns that foreign businesses hesitate to invest in Argentina due to perceived political risks and instances of misappropriation. He said that Musk emphasized the necessity of a secure legal framework ensuring the protection of property rights for potential investors.

Argentina, a key player in the lithium industry along with Bolivia and Chile, forms the renowned lithium triangle, boasting over 50% of global proven reserves of this essential metal used extensively in electric vehicle batteries.
