Argentine President Javier Milei said that his country is ready to sign a trade agreement with the United States based on his US counterpart Donald Trump's reciprocal tariffs proposal.
He further stated that such an agreement "would undoubtedly benefit" both countries. "Great commercial integration means nothing more than and nothing less than the citizens of both nations having access to higher-quality goods and services at better prices," Milei stressed.
Earlier on Monday, Milei met with US Treasury Secretary Scott Besent in Buenos Aires, with the latter official expressing support for his economic policies.
