Emirates suspends flights to Qatar as UAE cuts ties

Dubai-based airline Emirates said on Monday it will suspend flights to Qatar after the United Arab Emirates severed diplomatic ties with Doha over its alleged support of terrorism. The Emirates flights to Qatar will be suspended indefinitely starting on Tuesday.

Earlier, the other UAE-based airline, Etihad Airways announced it will cancel its flights to Qatar from Tuesday, as well.

The UAE is one of several Arab countries which cut diplomatic ties with Qatar after WikiLeaks revealed Hillary Clinton claimed Qatar supported terrorism. Qatar insisted the move was "unjustified."
