Syrian Information Minister Mohammed Ramiz Tarjaman stated on Monday that Damascus looks at the US military presence in Al-Tanf and Turkish military in Idlib as aggression that breaches Syria's sovereignty and UN resolutions, according to Sputnik. Tarjaman went on to say that his country has the right to react.

He stressed that his government doesn't consider "any city liberated until the Syrian Arab army enters it and lifts the Syrian flag over it." "This applies to any point of the Syrian map," Tardjaman said.

According to the minister, although Raqqa's liberation from ISIS is a positive event, it is still necessary that Syrian troops enter the city for complete liberation. The Syrian Democratic Forces backed by Washington took Raqqa from ISIS three days ago.

On the other hand, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said today that Moscow expects the United States to answer questions on its new strategy in Syria.
