Ministry: Death toll in Gaza over 1,000 since March 18

The Hamas-run Health Ministry in the Gaza Strip said on Monday that at least 1,001 Palestinians have been killed since Israel resumed attacks on the enclave on March 18. At least 2,359 people have been injured.

Within the last day, 53 people were killed and 189 were injured, according to the ministry's data. The total death toll since the start of the Hamas-Israel conflict in October 2023 has now grown to 50,357, with 114,400 injured.
