The Hamas-run Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip said on Friday that the number of Palestinians killed in the ongoing war between Hamas and Israel touched 34,622.
In the latest report, the ministry said the figure rose after 26 civilians died in the last 24 hours amid 3 attacks from Israeli forces that also left 51 injured people. The total of injured people since the beginning of the war surged to 77,867.
As ceasefire talks are set to continue in Egypt, pro-Palestinian protests at major universities in the United States leave thousands of people arrested and countries such as Turkey, Colombia and Iran took steps to pressure the Israeli government to halt the offensive in Gaza and other territories.
