Minnesota National Guard member diagnosed with COVID-19 amid protests

Around ten members of the Minnesota National Guard have been placed in isolation after one soldier tested positive for COVID-19 amid protests in the state.

According to local media reports, over 7,000 National Guard members deployed in the state to respond to violent demonstration over the killing of George Floyd will be tested for the coronavirus.

Meanwhile, Minnesota reported 310 new COVID-19 cases and 22 deaths from the disease in the past 24 hours.
