Health Ministry: Gaza death toll up 32 to 34,388

The ongoing conflict between Hamas and Israel has claimed the lives of at least 34,388 Palestinians since October 7, the Hamas-run Ministry of Health in the enclave unveiled on Saturday.

According to the ministry's estimates, 77,437 people have been injured in the war-torn enclave since the beginning of the war. In the past 24 hours, the ministry recorded 32 deaths and 69 injuries.

In a related development, Israeli broadcaster Channel 12 reported that the National Security Minister of Israel, Itamar Ben-Gvir, proposed to execute some Palestinian prisoners to solve the overcrowding issue in Israeli jails at a cabinet meeting earlier this week.

Israel shells Gaza camps, raids West Bank town
The Israeli Defense Force shelled the Bureij and Nuseirat camps in central Gaza, Al Jazeera reported.The shelling resulted in the death of two Palestinians and the wounding of several others, Wafa news reported. Several injured people were taken to the Al Awda Hospital in Nuseirat, along with the bodies of the two people killed in the attack.Additionally, Palestinian media reported that the IDF raided the West Bank town of Anabta which is located east of Tulkarem.
