Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov said in an interview with Belarus state television that Moscow "does not need a new G8", adding that it will rely on existing organizations in the Eurasian space.
"The EAEU (Eurasian Economic Union) is actively promoting integration processes together with the PRC (People's Republic of China), harmonizing the Chinese One Belt, One Road project with plans for Eurasian integration," he underlined.
Lavrov also commented on how the BRICS is "relying not on Western methods of doing business" but on "fairer methods" that will not lead to the dominance of a single currency within the economic group.
