Mubadala joins group buying 49% stake in Aramco pipeline

Mubadala Investment Co. PJSC announced on Tuesday that it joined the consortium purchasing a 49% stake in Saudi Aramco's pipeline.

The group, which is led by EIG Global Energy Partners, agreed to pay $12.4 billion to Aramco earlier in April. The newly formed Aramco Oil Pipelines Co., which will operate the network, will have the rights to 25 years of payments from Aramco for transporting oil.

Mubadala did not disclose the amount it will invest.
