Tech mogul and Tesla co-founder Elon Musk stated on Monday that he would not support the merger between xAI and Tesla. The entrepreneur briefly responded with "no" to a post on X asking whether Tesla investors would back a potential merger between the two companies.
Earlier, Musk revealed that Tesla investors will vote on a proposed investment in his artificial intelligence and social media company xAI, which he said should've happened "long ago." Meanwhile, SpaceX was rumored to have agreed to invest $2 billion in xAI.
Additionally, xAI reportedly aimed for a valuation of up to $200 billion in the latest funding round, a day after Musk officially unveiled Grok 4.0, the latest version of his AI assistant.
