Billionaire and entrepreneur Elon Musk commented on Friday on the decisions of both the German Ministry of Defense and the country's armed forces to stop posting on his social media platform X.
The ministry and the army explained that as the "factual exchange is becoming increasingly difficult [on X]," they will no longer be using the platform until further notice, adding that they'll migrate to WhatsApp and Instagram, owned by Meta Platforms Inc. "They're going where lies are not challenged," Musk said in a post on X.
Musk has been quarreling with the reigning German government, openly calling on German citizens to support the far-right political party, Alternative for Germany (AfD).
